Usually, massage is conducted along the lymph vessels to nearby lymph nodes. The direction of massage movements is performed by massage lines or directions.
The lymphatic system is composed of lymphatic vessels (lymphatic follicles, lymph nodes, spleen, tonsils, thymus, liver, bone marrow)
Lymph originates from the tissue fluid between the tissues of the skin and the muscles. Part of the tissue fluid flows into the lymph capillaries. Lymphatic capillaries take up tissue from the tissue of the connective tissue. It contains fat, cholesterol, sugar, various salts, proteins, white blood cells , lymphocytes. The lymphatic vessels are located parallel to the veins during metabolism. The lymphatic systems are subdivided into lymphatic capillaries, lymphatic vessels, lymphatic trunks and lymphatic branches.
